I'm not sure its a good idea. The owners dont stay in touch or seem to give info when asked? maybe this is why its for sale but its to much hassle to keep asking them for updates let alone crazy things like prices?
Its been my experince that if the guy is flying it everyweekend and just needs cash to start building the new hull and will take you out flying this is the craft to buy. if they dont use it any more for any reason jsut passs on it no matter what. lets not get screwed or reward no flyers there are a ton of craft out there. i recommend you just find a flying craft and offer the guy money tell he sells it to you then you know it works.
Manufactured craft??????????? i say no!!!!!!!!!!! but if your a complete lazy ass and want some else to do the work your the guy!!! but use your head go fly the craft your ordering. bring bags of play sand so you can add max weight to the craft. expect it to perfrom to its cruise speeds fully loaded at full power or better. if it doesnt pay extra get a bigger motor and prop. There alwaYS 50% UNDER POWERED TO SMALL. YOU'LL NEED TWICE AS MANY SEATS AS YOU THINK JUST TO GET BY. GO FLY SO YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN SO YOU DONT FIND OUT AFTER YOUR THE OWNER. EMAIL FRANK HE CAN HELP YOU HERE!! HES BEEN THROUGH IT ALL FROM HAPPY TO WANTING TO KILL SOMEONE TO A COMPLETE RESTORE ON A NEW CRAFT.
be smart enough to realize if it is holding enough weight for you and your fat friends or wife and there gear. FLY IT IN 15 MPH WINDS LOADED WITH YOUR SAND. LEST JUST SAY YOU''LL BE ORDERING A BIGGER ONE WHEN YOU GET BACK TO THE BOAT RAMP. ON THE POSITIVE SIDE YOUR WIFE WILL NOT BE ASKING TO COME ALONG ON YOUR FISHING TRIPS IF YOU BROUGHT HER WITH YOU.
Just know you can build a 20 ft craft top of the line salt water ready for 7500 to 10000 not including labor. also keep in mind the hull size reall does not change the crafts price buiding as the hull is almost for for a few more feet.
Now if were talking about $30 to $40 k or more for a hovercraft your fucking nuts. IF I SEE ANOTHER 14 FT CRAFT FOR 30 PLUS I'LL^%^&%*%&*(.
No you can not build a $1500.00 dollar hovercraft that is worth having or trusting your life to. i wouldnt load one with sand and test fly it with out a ejection seat. be carfuel as barry the sevtec palmer says builders are hell!!!!!!!!
dont buy wood anything! dont buy anything thats not galvanized or stainless. get foam and glass. what you save at the purchase you'll spend ten times or more changing it. i gaurantee that.
